Winfried Lehmann handed over the artwork, created in 2012, to the municipality of Ludersdorf in 2019 to make it accessible to a wider public. Winfried Lehmann was born in Holland in 1934 and lived in Vienna as a boy during World War II. As a shoe technician and designer, the artist was fortunate to work repeatedly in cities with modern museums. Only in retirement could he practically engage with art and become artistically active himself. The sculptor († 2022), who lived in Ludersdorf and was the long-time artistic director of the Aprilfestival at Schloss Freiberg, was known beyond the borders of Eastern Styria.
