Mida Huber Haus

The "Mida-Huber-Haus" is the former residence of the local poet Mida Huber, now run as a museum. Her most famous literary works included "Meini Kinda", "Wegwarten" and "Stille Pfade". Mida Huber (1880–1974) was a versatile artist from Burgenland – a poet, painter, composer, and traditional costume designer. She lived in Landsee from 1942, where she was artistically active until old age. Her poems and stories – often in dialect – address themes of home, nature, and social issues. She received several awards for her work.
