Marienkapelle/Wallfahrtskapelle am Hartberg

High above the valley, about half an hour northeast of the parish church of Hart, the widely visible Renaissance chapel with its octagonal tower and onion dome was built in 1677 in honor of the Mother of God. Legend has it that the Mother of God once washed the diapers for the infant Jesus in the stream next to the chapel. Therefore, even today, the water is attributed special healing powers, especially for eye ailments.
