Lungauer Tennengalerie

The Lungauer Tennengalerie aims to be a lively place of communication, encounter with art (art workshop), and culture in a friendly, informal atmosphere. At the center of the gallery is an established exhibition titled "Bauernsterben" (Farmer's Death), which critically examines the situation of farmers today, everyday concerns, and especially the highly industrialized conditions of the food industry through installations, objects, sculptures, images, and multimedia. Particular emphasis is placed on involving children and school classes through thematically related creative workshops (art workshop), designed in an unconventional artistic manner. This mixed concept is intended to create a cultural coexistence that unites creative human, nature, and animal worlds in the region, while also strengthening and promoting artistic education as an important cultural asset.
