After the comfortable ascent with the Loser Panoramabahn, the mountain cart ride back into the valley begins at the mountain station, combined with impressive views of the mountains of the Ausseerland Salzkammergut. The route, called "9K", leads over 9 kilometers of asphalt, 750 meters in altitude and 14 hairpin bends from the mountain station to the valley station of the Loser. The pace can be determined by yourself: from leisurely to sporty. The route and procedures have been tested by TÜV SÜD and classified as easy. With many memories after the mountain cart ride back at the valley station of the Loser, a visit to Lake Altaussee, which is only a few minutes away, or an enjoyable stop in the spa town of Altaussee is an option: this way, the mountain experience on the Loser can be ideally combined with other excursion destinations in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut region.
