The Loretto Chapel Mitterberg is located in the municipality of Sankt Johann in der Haide in Styria on a forest clearing between Altenberg, Mitterberg and Unterrohr. It is a small chapel that is now a popular meeting point for both religious purposes and for hikers and walkers. In the past, residents of the parishes of St. Magdalena, Unterrohr, St. Johann in der Haide and many others flocked from all sides, singing and praying in procession to this Loretto Chapel.
