Locherer Kapelle

While hiking in the forests of Kufstein west of the Inn, you might well come across the Locherer Chapel in a forest clearing between the fortress town and the neighboring village. The small chapel is a place of faith, but also a place with history. The water from the spring in front of the chapel is wonderfully refreshing and invigorating. After an easy hike of about 20 minutes from Egerbach and about 45 minutes from Kufstein, you reach the Locherer Chapel, situated in a forest clearing. Benches invite you to linger amidst nature, in the shade of a chestnut tree.
