The branch church on Lindenberg was already built in the 16th century in the late Gothic style. People built the church as a thank you for finally averting the long-raging plague. The beautiful Renaissance high altar was gilded in 1893. The view from the church is simply fantastic; one marvels not only at the almost 1,500 planted linden trees, but the view extends over the entire Passailer Kessel. When hiking on the forest and bee nature trail, you walk directly past the church.
