Laufclub Ebensee

Inspired by the New York Marathon, Wolfgang Derfler and Andreas Promberger decided to found a running club in their hometown of Ebensee. In 1996, the running club was introduced to the public, and the club continues to gain popularity to this day. The members of Laufclub Ebensee meet for joint training sessions and compete together in various competitions. A highlight is the run around Ebensee's Langbathsee, independently organized by the running club. The so-called Langbathseelauf, which has already taken place successfully more than 20 times, delights numerous runners from Ebensee and the surrounding communities every year.
