Langlaufen in Faistenau

The cross-country ski trail network in Faistenau, consisting of perfectly groomed trails with a length of approx. 60 km (easy to medium difficulty), starts at the sports field directly in the village (cross-country ski stadium) and leads along the edge of the village into the Tiefbrunnau Valley. The trails are consistently in a sunny location and without major inclines. In addition to the existing trail network, a night trail is also offered. The approx. 5 km long Kugelberg trail consists of a classic trail and a skating track and is illuminated daily from dusk until 9:00 PM. The trail in Tiefbrunnau can be skied with 20 km each for skating and classic and is particularly suitable for beginners due to its trail layout. Entry either on Schönaustraße at parking lot no. 3 or at the Loipenstüberl, parking lot no. 4.Furthermore, we offer perfect infrastructure along the route. At the school (entrance next to the Faistenau elementary school), changing rooms, showers/toilets, and lockers are available. Parking spaces with a parking guidance system in the village center, at Sport Auer, and in Tiefbrunnau. Those who do not have their own equipment will find the right equipment at the service center/ski rental "Sport Auer".The cross-country ski trails in Faistenau are subject to a fee. Tickets are available at the entry points, in the webshop, and at the tourist office.
