Where hikers and cyclists move in summer, cross-country skiers glide through the dream landscape in winter. The 200 km long Pinzga Loipe winds through the Salzachtal over the meadows. A double classic track is groomed, and there is also a skating track in parts. Starting at the municipality of Fusch, the track leads you to the Ponyhof and back. Overall, you can enjoy over 5 km of cross-country skiing. The track from Bruck towards Zell am See and Kaprun is flat. For variety with particular snow reliability, the Höhenloipen (high-altitude tracks) in Mittersill - Pass Thurn and Hochfilzen provide excellent options. The Mittersill Hochmoorloipe is located at 1,250 m above sea level, is 22 km long, and offers a breathtaking view of the Hohe Tauern National Park. In Hochfilzen - accessible via Saalfelden towards St. Johann in Tirol - there is an extensive network of tracks at 1,000 m above sea level.
Upcoming events within 10 km.
