Langlaufarena Weyer Waldhütte

This provides perfectly groomed trails with a total length of approx. 9 km in a wonderful winter landscape for recreational and athletic cross-country skiers.The classic trail with a total length of 7 km runs from Hollensteiner Straße along the Dürnbach to the Hinteralm turning point. The 2 km long skating trail is located at the Almer (2 km further into the valley).The trails are groomed when there is sufficient snow and can be used free of charge. The skating trail is groomed on weekends. The use of the trails at dusk and at night is not permitted, so as not to disturb the wild animals.Use of the trailsThe use of the trails is free of charge and at the cross-country skiers' own risk. The signs along the trails must be observed. Special caution is required when crossing roads; in case of doubt, skis should be unstrapped to cross the road safely. Cross-country skiers must ensure for themselves that the trails can be used safely. No liability is assumed for damages of any kind or accidents.The trails are maintained voluntarily by members of the Waldhütte Leisure Club. Voluntary donations to cover the considerable operating costs of the grooming equipment are always welcome for the use of the trails.Public transport:The Ennstalbahn runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.
