Kutschenmuseum Gruber

Over 80 vehicles are housed in the museum, founded in 1986, across more than 1200 m². The museum focuses on a cross-section and comparison of agricultural, bourgeois, and aristocratic means of transport. The museum displays carriages that "tell stories," such as the sleigh Josef Werndl rode, or the magnificent carriage of the Linz diocesan bishops. Another part of the museum is dedicated to accessories related to carriages and horses. A special concern of the museum is to bring the cultural-historical aspects of earlier means of transport closer to today's visitors and to tell the story of the "driving culture" of yesteryear. In addition, the collection of the Heimatstube Großraming is also represented, offering an authentic insight into the life of the Ennstal population in the 19th century.
