The former community center serves the internationally renowned artist Bernd Horak as a gallery, studio, living space, and event venue. We showcase the diversity of Bernd Horak's work while also being able to offer other interesting artistic positions. Kunsthaus Hintersee sees itself as a counterpoint to sterile galleries and offers art for common sense on approximately 500sqm of exhibition space. In addition to the publicly accessible gallery, we offer art workshops, readings, and house tours with programs such as live vinorell painting, readings, and lectures.
