Krastaler Skulpturenstraße

"From the River to the Lake" is the name of the project surrounding the Sculpture Road from Treffen to Weissenstein. This unique open-air gallery was realized in 2004-2005 as an EU Leader project based on plans by architect Peter Schurz and artistically directed by Michael Kos and Egon Straszer. The life-sized artworks made from the well-known white Krastal marble can be found along a length of 7 kilometers and can also be purchased.The following sculptors collaborated on the Sculpture Road: Carmen Armbruster, Guy Baekelmans, Gillian Forbes, Jun Furukawa, Herbert Golser, Thomas Györi, Erika Inger, Rudolf J.
