Kraftorte zum Aufleben- Dorfkapelle Lebing

Floing, Styria

Spiritual center of the village center The chapel, built in 2000, is dedicated to the Holy Family, also as a sign to strengthen the family today. The artist Alois Moosbacher, originally from Strallegg, addresses the theme with two graphically depicted murals. One image also refers to being on the way as Christians, who are guests here on earth. Altar, ambo, candle holders, and holy water font were created by the artist Fred Höfler. The nearby R8 (Feistritztal) cycle path invites you to experience nature intensely. Invitation to inner contemplation The Weiz pastoral area holds a variety of spiritual treasures and places of power that invite inner contemplation and tranquility. These places of power are not only scenically beautiful but also connected with a deeper spiritual meaning. People who are looking for inner peace and balance can find inspiration and recreation in these places. From all nine parishes of the Weiz pastoral area, we have selected one place of power each: idyllic chapels, scenically beautiful places, historic churches. A visit to these 9 places of power can also be combined with an activity (hike, sightseeing, bike tour ...) for old and young. Collection passes are available at all nine places of power, in the parish churches, and in the parish offices of the pastoral area, which can be stamped at each of the nine locations with a stamp available there from June to Advent (December 15). The collection passes can be handed in at any parish office in the 9 parishes until December 15, 2024 (Homepage - opening hours/ Weiz pastoral area) or sent by post to the parish office Weizberg 13, 8160 Weiz. Additionally, boxes are available in the parish churches for dropping off the collection passes. All completed collection passes will be rewarded with a certificate and a pin. In addition, nine beautiful prizes will be raffled off.
