Kneippanlage im Pitztal

St. Leonhard im Pitztal, Tyrol

One could not have found a more beautiful name than "Stillebach" for this place. Stillebach - that is the home of the Pitztal Water World. Here, the Klockelefall plunges over steep cliffs, and amidst a picturesque mountain backdrop, an idyllic swimming lake with a large sunbathing lawn and a Kneipp facility at its feet promise well-being in many variations. The center of the Water World is the Kneipp facility with its hand, foot, and treading basins. The cool water flows refreshingly around the legs in the treading basin, and the cool water pleasantly stimulates and massages the forearms in the hand and arm basin. On a separate relaxation zone with a large sunbathing lawn, you can relax wonderfully after Kneipping. Changing rooms, an information board with the Kneipp rules, and a refreshing drinking water fountain complete the relaxing offer. Tip: The impressive Klockelefall - an illuminated waterfall with a beautiful view - is easily accessible from the hamlet of Stillebach. Description for wheelchair users: In Stillebach, directly next to the Biohotel Stillebach, there is a lovingly designed Kneipp facility that can be explored via a circular path according to the Kneipp concept of the five senses. The path around the Kneipp facility is partly asphalted, partly gravel, but easily traversable with a wheelchair. The first section of the Kneipp facility, which includes a hand bath, a foot bath, and the stork walk, is accessible via an asphalted path, while the swimming lake, the lake bar, children's playground, and the herb and vegetable gardens are accessible via the gravel path. Some path sections have a gradient greater than 6%. At one point, the path is crossed by a water channel that is difficult to overcome. After the tour, the Biohotel with its restaurant and sun terrace invites you to a comfortable rest. The restaurant is directly accessible from the terrace via a 5 cm step. There is no wheelchair-accessible toilet in the hotel itself, but the public toilet facility of the Kneipp facility directly next to the hotel has a wheelchair-accessible toilet. The path to it is partly asphalted, partly unpaved, and the last part is very steep via a wooden ramp with a short 18% gradient. The entrance is accessible via an easy-to-open inward-opening door. The passage to the toilet is 89 cm wide, the toilet door opens outwards with a width of 85 cm. The toilet is spacious but does not have a turning circle of 150 cm.
