With a length of 1.8 kilometers, a width of 800 meters, a depth of 48 meters, and water temperatures of up to 28°C, Lake Klopein is the largest, best-known, and warmest of the 7 ½ lakes in Southern Carinthia. Not only that, it can also call itself the warmest swimming lake in Europe! With Austria's only continuous lakeside promenade and excellent water quality, it is perfect for strolling, sports in or around the water, wellness, or fishing. Around the lake there are numerous lidos, all of which offer a wide variety of activities: SUP or pedal boating, diving, snorkeling, swimming, playing tennis or beach volleyball – this lake is a true all-rounder.
