The Schlossberg Klettersteig (via ferrata) runs along the southwest face and is embedded in a breathtaking panorama over the market town of Griffen. The 450m long via ferrata was opened in May 2018. Due to its sustained difficulty and sections up to difficulty level "E", the via ferrata on Schlossberg Griffen quickly became a "TEST PIECE". The right technique and tactics can also be decisive between a relaxed ascent and a dangerous adventure, and at difficult sections, the rope can also be unpacked for belaying.
