Wagrain, Salzburg
What to expect: Climbing enthusiasts can enjoy Wagrain-Kleinarl even in winter or bad weather: in the multi-purpose hall of the Neue Mittelschule Wagrain, there is a climbing wall with an approximately 180 m² lead climbing area. Additionally, you can train your balance on a height-adjustable slackline. On designated weekdays, 'free' climbing (WITHOUT a course) is available at any time, as a 'climbing wall supervisor' or an attendant will be present on site. Important INFO: 'Loose magnesia' must not be used on the climbing wall due to contamination and dust concerns. Therefore, a 'magnesium ball' is recommended for climbing activities. Equipment (ropes, safety devices, climbing harnesses) is provided. Only shoes are not offered on site for hygienic reasons. On weekends, climbing can only take place for organizational reasons if climbers register the day before (= free climbing - only with prior registration by 11:00 AM the day before).
