Climbing Center WindischgarstenThe climbing hall was completely renovated in 2023 and now comprises 650m2 of climbing surface. Boulder indoor: 100m2 Boulder Outdoor: 150m2 Rope climbing Indoor: 400m2 up to 14 meters high and 4m overhang. Difficulty: from the third to the eighth degree of difficulty; some easier top-rope routes are set upMinimum rope length: 35m BOULDER AREAS Indoor: On the upper floor there is a bouldering room with a small pegboard and campus board. Outdoor: The new bouldering block offers around 45 different bouldering routes in difficulties 3 to 7b. There are also 10 extra bouldering routes for children. With a bouldering area of 150m², this bouldering block is the largest in Upper Austria!Two crash pads are available. With a crash pad, you can boulder up to 4.5 meters; below that, you stay below the red line up to 3.5m high. GENERAL EQUIPMENT The climbing hall is equipped with changing rooms for ladies and gentlemen, WC, and showers. RULES The climbing hall and bouldering areas can be used by anyone, whether an AV member or not - and of course by guests of our region - at their own risk. Before the first use of the climbing hall, a registration form (available at the info desk on the ground floor) must be filled out and submitted.Children and young people under 18 years of age are not allowed to climb independently.The climbing hall regulations and the user rules for the climbing wall must be strictly adhered to.
