Best time of day/year: Spring and autumn, too hot in summer, too cold in winter. Rock quality: Compact slab limestone with ledge, friction, and crack climbs, technically extremely demanding. Atmosphere: A somewhat "alpine" atmosphere with partly uncomfortable entry areas and access to the routes via fixed ropes or other routes. Perfect for lovers of well-secured multi-pitch routes. Access: Currently, access is very difficult as no path exists and much is overgrown. A new access path is planned for next spring. Distance: 4 km from Großraming / 5 – 7 minutes driving time. Important notes: Park in a space-saving manner! Public transport: The Ennstalbahn runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen. Details at www.ooevv.at. Train stations are located in Ternberg, Trattenbach, Losenstein, Reichraming, Großraming, Küpfern, Kastenreith, Kleinreifling and Weißenbach-St. Gallen. Arrival by car: From Salzburg/Linz: A1 motorway exit Enns-Steyr > B115 into the Ennstal. From Vienna: A1 motorway exit Haag > B42 > B122 > B115 into the Ennstal. From Passau: A8 Passau > Wels > A1 to motorway exit Enns-Steyr > B115 into the Ennstal. From Graz: A9 Pyhrnautobahn > motorway exit Klaus > Grünburg > into the Ennstal.
