AccessTo the 1st Tower:From the Klausriegler parking lot, follow the goods road back 400m to the bridge in the left turn. Take the tractor path first across the meadow to the edge of the forest and continue through the forest (partially pathless) to the base of the first tower (red dot). Over the fore-summit in easy climbing to the entry points (see sketch).To the 2nd Tower:At the farmhouse, which is located east of the Kreuzmauer, the normal route to the Kreuzmauer begins. Follow this for approx. 300m until the path turns sharply upwards to the right. Continue straight here and follow faint paths to the entry points at the foot of the 2nd tower (see sketch).Rock qualityCompact slab limestone with ledge, friction, and crack climbs, technically extremely demanding. On the 3rd tower, extremely exposed climbing over several massively overhanging roofs.AtmosphereA somewhat "alpine" atmosphere with partially uncomfortable, fall-prone entry areas and access to the routes via scree or other routes. Completely unsuitable for children. Perfect for lovers of well-secured multi-pitch routes. From the summit of the Kreuzmauer, you can enjoy a fantastic view at the end of the climbing day.DistanceApproximately 6.5 km, from Ternberg / 15 minutes driving time.Important notesIn the area of the Hubertuskapelle east of the Kreuzmauer, there are only a few parking spaces, which often have to be shared with hikers or bikers. Be sure to park in a space-saving manner! The parking lot on the west side of the Kreuzmauer (access 1st tower) at GH Klausriegler is subject to a fee. The fee will be refunded with consumption in the guesthouse (highly recommended!).Public transport:The Ennstalbahn runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.
