The St. Michael filial church on the village square is a simple Baroque building from the years 1775 to 1780. It corresponds to the type of Lechtal churches with a wide hall, a recessed choir, and a north tower. The high altar and pulpit date from the construction period; the side altars were installed in 1866. The main altarpiece of St. Michael was created in 1777 by the Außerfern artist Jakob Zeiler. The large fresco painting on the ceiling was painted by Johann Kärle between 1878 and 1880. The church was renovated from 1976 – 1984. During Holy Week, the beautiful Holy Sepulchre with numerous colorful glass stones is set up.
