Name: St. Jakob Church Description: Handed down as "St. Jacob in Seewald" or "St. Jacob Khirchen im Seepoden", the filial church of Lieseregg likely originated at the beginning of the 16th century. Written sources mention its use in the years 1575-77 by the Protestant preacher Rupert Arzthofer. A fire in the 19th century likely only damaged the building. In 1956, the church, which had fallen into disrepair, was secularized and sold to the municipality of Seeboden. Only a private initiative led to the restoration (until 2002) of the church, which was re-consecrated on October 15, 2000. St. Jakob is today a filial church of the Seeboden parish church.
