Kapelle Maria Schnee in Ischgl Ortsteil Pasnatsch

The year 1643 is mentioned in literature as the date of construction (enlarged in 1708). The patronage of Maria Schnee (Our Lady of the Snows) goes back to a legend from Rome, according to which a church should be built at the spot where the Madonna appeared during the night (August 5, 358) and where snow lay the next morning.
