The rural lime burning, a craft now forgotten, is presented in the lime kiln in Steinbach am Ziehberg, built in 1926 and renovated in 1998. Visitors learn interesting facts about the chemistry of lime, the work in the quarry, the burning process in various kilns, and the dangerous transport of lime.
