The impressive backdrop of the Kaisergebirge forms the basis for the hiking area on the high plateau from Brentenjoch to the Steinbergalmen. Here begins a habitat that has been registered as a nature reserve for over 60 years. Here, nature and flora, animals and alpine farming have formed a symbiosis for centuries. It is an ideal starting point for tours into the Kaisergebirge, the Kaisertal and around the Wilder Kaiser. With the Kaiserlift, an ascent aid is available that also allows less athletic people to enjoy unforgettable experiences and views on the mountain. The Kufstein Kaiserlift takes all nature lovers to the high plateau of the Steinbergalmen. The new single-seater chairlift is not only the first step to get up the mountain effortlessly, but also a "pleasure transport" on the path of deceleration. Arriving at 1200 m above sea level, visitors can expect intact nature, wonderful hiking trails, panoramic peaks and a traditional hut culture. Awareness spots bring the value of nature and wildlife closer under the mighty backdrop of the Kaisergebirge in the nature reserve.Exploring the nature reserve with experts - this is possible from May to October with special themed tours. Information on the program and dates can be found at https://www.naturerlebnis-kaisergebirge.at/de/naturerlebnis-kaisergebirge.htmlKaiserlift open from early May to approximately late October.Private parking subject to charge!
