Kaiser Franz Denkmal

On a serpentine block rests an obelisk topped with the Austrian double-headed eagle along the federal road towards Mittersill. It is an old memorial column from 1837, which is meant to commemorate Emperor Franz, who made the Pinzgau region arable through the Salzach regulation.
