Intersport Pumptrack Vorchdorf

With the action-packed Pumptrack behind the sports field, the residents of Vorchdorf get an additional opportunity to engage in physical activity after school or work, as well as on weekends. Both children and adults can train their balance, dexterity, coordination, and motor skills. We are very pleased that after intensive work and numerous volunteer hours, the Vorchdorf Pumptrack has been in operation since October 12, 2022, and people are already diligently cycling, pumping, and jumping. An official opening will take place next year as part of the Naturfreunde's 50th-anniversary celebrations. How it works: By alternately pushing and pulling (pumping), riders can maintain and increase their speed on the pumptrack without having to pedal. Vehicles: Whether with a cool bike, skateboard, or scooter, there is enough space for everyone. The Intersport Pumptrack Vorchdorf is suitable for all muscle-powered sports equipment with rollers or wheels, such as bicycles (especially BMX and dirt bikes), skateboards, scooters, roller skates, and balance bikes. Admission: Free and accessible to everyone. Helmet compulsory. Additional protective equipment is strongly recommended. Please observe the rules of use on site and keep the area clean. We recommend arriving by public transport! By train: via Wels station to Lambach station, with the Vorchdorferbahn (line 160) or from Gmunden with the Traunsee Tram (line 161) of Stern & Haferl Bahnen to Vorchdorf Eggenberg station. Numerous connections from Wels station to the main traffic trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt, and Bad Aussee. By bus: OÖVV bus lines 481 from Kirchdorf to Vorchdorf or 501 from Wels to Vorchdorf. Please note the regulations for bicycle transport on trains and buses!
