Ingeringsee

This beautiful mountain lake in Gaal invites visitors to come and linger. Whether it's a walk around the lake (approx. 45 minutes) or as a starting point for extended hikes into the Seckauer Alpen, Ingeringsee offers many opportunities for every visitor to find peace. The Klementikapelle, built in 2015, can also be visited. A magnificent view from the chapel, which is furnished inside with Swiss pine wood, provides a very special view of the lake. Ingeringsee is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Styria, located in the heart of Austria. Numerous hikes into the Seckauer Alpen also begin here. Access to the lake is possible by car. First along an asphalt road, shortly before the lake a gravel road begins, which you can follow further to the parking lot. In winter there is a winter closure. However, you can still undertake a winter or snowshoe hike to Ingeringsee (approx. 1 hour).
