The castle – owned by the Erdödy family and their descendants since 1582 – has been revived after 50 years of slumber. Today, it is available to guests on certain dates as a Buschenschank (wine tavern), and as an event venue for parties and celebrations. For special occasions, the castle can also be booked exclusively. The historic rooms have been carefully revitalized and tastefully furnished. Whether at the bar in the old castle kitchen or in front of the open fireplace in the Knight's Hall – it's a cozy place to linger. The combination of historic ambiance, modern comfort, homemade specialties, and wine from the castle winery ensures that visitors are happy to return.
