HWW-Station Dechantskirchen/Kirche 1 & 2

This HWW station is part of the Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail Wechselland (HWW). More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at. Each HWW station is dedicated to a chapter from the history of the Wechselland. At this double station (HWW Station: Dechantskirchen/Kirche 1 & 2), a total of two topics are explained: Dechantskirchen/Kirche 1: The architectural history and art history of the Dechantskirchen church are explained here. Dechantskirchen/Kirche 2: The Dechantskirchen parish is the oldest parish in the Wechselland. At this station, you will learn about the Christianization and other early parish foundations in the Wechselland. Location of the HWW station: Approximately 10 meters west of the main entrance to the Dechantskirchen church.
