Hubertuskapelle

The Hubertuskapelle, along with the Friedensgrotte, the Kernkapelle, the "Segensplatz" for children, and the Arndorfer Gebetskreuz, is another place of encounter and inner contemplation, designed by our renowned woodcarver Hans Pendl. It is one of the seven places on the "7 Plätze 7 Schätze" path, which connects the Burgthannerweg and the Kernkapellenweg, and leads past 7 places that hold 7 special treasures. All seven places have a connection to the well-known woodcarver Hans Pendl. The Hubertuskapelle was erected in 1980 on the initiative of hunters and used for numerous hunting events. In 2010, it was repainted, and now, almost 30 years after its construction, renovation was necessary. Together with the planner Alfred Mörth, the locally responsible chairman of the Kühwiesen hunting society Rupert Hütter, the game warden of game district 13 Mr. Heribert Eitljörg, the artist Johann Pendl, Alexander Zierler, Hans Wiedenhofer, and numerous other dedicated helpers, the chapel was completely renovated in 2018, and the area around the chapel was also redesigned.
