The Wood Sculpture Trail starts directly at Gasthof Haider on the Nechnitz. Woodcarver Erich Haider-Harrer created around 45 wood sculptures, benches, and energy fountains along the path. These accompany the 1.5-kilometer long trail to the Gschaid Nock summit. There, a wonderful panoramic view awaits with the Rote Wand, the Hochlantsch, and the Sommeralm to the north. To the south, the view extends to the Schöckel and the surrounding peaks. With the help of the large display board, the mountains can be easily identified. If you want to do a longer hike, you can continue on trail no. 2 or 740 to the Teichalm. Walking time for the Wood Sculpture Trail: approx. 2 hours. Trail length: 3 kilometers with 260 meters of elevation gain.Take the opportunity to travel by public transport.
