At 1834m, the Hochgrat is the highest mountain in the western Allgäu and the most striking peak in the Nagelfluhkette. The nostalgic Hochgratbahn takes you to an altitude of 1708 meters directly into the mountain world of Oberstaufen. From the mountain station, a circular path leads to the summit of the Hochgrat and further into the hiking paradise. The adventure rides of the Hochgratbahn promise unforgettable hours at sunrise and sunset. Even at full moon, the small yellow gondolas ascend the mountain, allowing you to enjoy the mystical atmosphere in the mountains. Dogs can ride up the mountain for a fee.
