Hochfilzner Jahreskrippe

The year-round nativity scene is located in the parish church Maria Schnee in Hochfilzen. The nativity scene not only depicts "the Birth of Christ", but also other scenes from the life and work of Jesus, such as "the Circumcision in the Temple", "the Three Wise Men", the "Wedding at Cana" and "the Carpenter's Workshop of Saint Joseph". In Baroque nativity scenes, the arrangement of the figures follows fixed specifications and resembles that of a theater.
