This over 300-year-old house provides insight into the way of life and culture of the mountain farmers and craftsmen of yesteryear. The smokehouse (Rauchstube) is fully furnished and is still heated for cooking and smoking. Then cured pieces of meat hang in the smoke under the pitch-black beamed ceiling. Occasionally, we also cook "Häfennigl" for our guests on the open hearth fire. The originally preserved furnishings, painted chests, tools of the farmers, shingle and thatch roofers, coopers, shoemakers, tailors and weavers, as well as old pictures and documents, give a glimpse into the past. Over 300 exhibits tell of joy and sorrow in olden times. Opening hours: Thursday - Sunday Guided tours: at 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17 o'clockRustic inn with 60 seats next door.
