New exhibition "Coats of Arms and Engraving". Visits and group tours are possible at any time, including evenings, by telephone appointment. The local history museum "Zur alten Schmiede" in Niederndorf near Kufstein is a panopticon of old, partly forgotten craftsmanship. Wall paintings, a tour through parlors, a look at typical Tyrolean crafts, such as blacksmith, wagon maker, farrier, locksmith. In the past, hammering, working, and shaping took place here in glowing heat. The treasures of the past were lovingly collected and exhibited by the Kaltschmid family from Niederndorf. Opening hours: Tours possible at any time by telephone appointment. Admission: voluntary donations. The new exhibition OLD WAX ART and SCALES, MEASURES and WEIGHTS can now be visited by prior telephone appointment. Tours, also for smaller groups, are possible at any time!
