The first documented mention of the "Arlergutes" was in 1325. The farm was operated until 1980 and has been a museum since 1982. The museum houses several buildings: a residential house, an economic building (stable), a granary (grain store), a beehouse, a mill, and a sawmill. The sawmill and the mill are located near the Dachserbach stream. This sawmill is equipped with a Venetian gate and is still fully functional. In July and August, wood is cut every Wednesday between 13:00 and 17:00. This sawmill was located in the Fischbach district and was in operation until 1980. In the Lammertal, there were numerous mills powered by an overshot water wheel. The mill is still fully operational, and in July and August, flour is ground every Wednesday between 13:00 and 17:00. This mill originally stood 200 meters upstream.
