The Fischingen Heimathaus with FIS Ski Museum is housed in a typical Allgäu farmhouse. It exhibits all the characteristic features of the Allgäu house landscape and is thus predestined to house the museum. The so-called "Gschwenderhaus" underwent a gentle restoration and, through its use as a museum, proves to be a stroke of luck for monument preservation. Objects and vehicles from the "old" Fischen were lovingly collected and housed. FIS Ski Museum Skiing is one of the most beautiful things you can do in winter. In the Hörnerdörfer, the enthusiasm for the sport on two planks has always been great. So great that a dedicated museum has been set up for it: The FIS Ski Museum (one of 30 ski museums with this distinction worldwide) in the same building shows an incredible variety of exhibits from the history of alpine and Nordic skiing and other winter sports - an absolute highlight. On display are, among other things, jumping skis from 1925 to today, and ice stocks and ice skates from the past have also found a place here. The ski workshop shows all kinds of utensils for the production and repair of skis. Admission: Residents and guests with the Hörnerdörfer Gästepass have free admission.
