Heimat- und Krippenmuseum Zirl

The Heimat- und Krippenmuseum (Local History and Nativity Museum) in Zirl is known throughout Tyrol for its wonderful nativity scene collection. It displays a unique selection of Christmas nativity scenes: magnificent Baroque creations as well as rare paper nativity scenes or even Lenten nativity scenes with scenes of the Passion of Christ. Thus, the museum offers a cross-section of the entire Tyrolean nativity scene tradition.
