Haus des Wassers

Two kilometers west of St. Jakob i. D. lies the "Haus des Wassers". There, rangers from the Hohe Tauern National Park impart knowledge about water, climate, and sustainability to 10 to 17-year-olds. Water analyses are on the program, as are flow measurements on the Schwarzach, various experiments with water, and the identification of creatures from nearby waters. Primarily for school classes, ranger tours for groups can also be booked year-round.
