Mateus Bailon is a Brazilian artist who currently lives and works in Sao Paolo. In his works, he explores narratives that recall the connection between humans and nature. Born and raised amidst the astonishing biodiversity of the Atlantic rainforest and shaped by its destruction, Bailon brings the power of nature in form to the streets of this world. His fantastic creatures spring from their own mythological universe. Characteristic are especially his birds, as depicted here in Hartberg.
