White Rabbit My mural "White Rabbit" from Alice in Wonderland is caught mid-leap, plunging headfirst into a swirling, mysterious rabbit hole. The background consists of abstract silhouettes of a landscape and lazily grazing sheep, oblivious to the world around them. These sheep represent the complacency of those who shy away from change and are content with their inertia. The contrast between the dynamic rabbit and the static sheep emphasizes the courage it takes to break new ground and face change. Behind the mural are the words: "It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then." (Quote from "Alice in Wonderland") My friend @dxtrtheweird wrote it on the wall with a brush and depicted the view into "The Burrow" on the other side of the building. Artist's biography: The Berlin-based artist ONUR focuses on his brushwork and explores the seeker in his oil paintings. Up close, the thick paint appears intense; from a distance, the colors merge into complex works showing wanderers, circus performers, and city dwellers in motion. ONUR is known worldwide for his detailed, large-format murals. His art radiates widely and addresses environmental and climate crises. The Swiss native with Turkish roots began his career as a theater painter before establishing himself as a freelance artist in Berlin. ONUR's works reflect his ongoing search, focusing more on the journey than the destination.
