One of the facades of the old Hartberg Bauhof, whose premises today serve among other things as music rehearsal rooms, was designed by David Leitner, who was born in Graz. Man and dog drowsily listen to the sounds from inside. Leitner's works often directly refer to their surroundings. This is clearly noticeable in the joint diploma project with Katharina C. Herzog. "Würmlas Wände" comprises 13 facades that were created in dialogue with the residents of the Lower Austrian municipality of the same name. David Leitner is a visual artist and lives in Vienna, Austria. He believes in the power of diminishing boundaries and consequently rejects the separation of applied and fine art. Meanwhile, his murals are represented worldwide.
