Hahnsee

The Hahnsee is located at 1800m in the Seckauer Alps and is probably one of the most hidden mountain lakes in the Alpine region. Away from marked paths, the small hidden lake offers a direct view of the jagged peaks of the Hahnenkamm. Snow often remains here until early summer. Since the path is not signposted, you should join guided tours or locals who know the way, otherwise it can easily happen that you simply hike past it. A truly untouched natural treasure that must be preserved.
