Hahnenkammbahn

In 1924, a commission was tasked with creating a cable car project for the Hahnenkamm. Construction began in the spring of 1926. Alfons Walde was responsible for the planning and execution of both station buildings. Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel was founded in 1928. One year later, the opening of the first Hahnenkammbahn was celebrated. This was an aerial tramway with 2 cabins for 18 people and had 9 supports.
