Gschaider Linde

This approximately 400-year-old linden tree stands on the Gschaider Sattel between Pöllau bei Hartberg and Birkfeld. Unfortunately, one of the two linden trees fell victim to a fire in May 2010; it burned out internally and was pruned, as the adjacent farm also caught fire. Fortunately, the linden tree continues to grow. Under the beautiful large linden tree, you will find a wonderful snack spot where you can take a break and enjoy the magnificent natural landscape.
