Granatkapelle

The Garnet Chapel is located at 2,087 m above sea level on the sunny plateau of the Penkenjoch - directly by the reservoir. From the mountain station of the Finkenberger Almbahnen, the Garnet Chapel can be comfortably reached by everyone in 10 min. The Garnet Chapel on the Penken is consecrated to the blessed Engelbert Kolland from Zillertal. The famous Swiss architect Mario Botta was commissioned for its execution.
